Lodging/Hotels

There are plenty of hotels in NOLA, so finding one is hopefully not hard. Here are a few recommendations of some good ones I am aware of or have personally stayed at. If you don't see something here that looks right - ping me and I'll give you some other recommendations. I have too many to fit on the page!!!!

Ritz-Carlton

My favorite hotel in NOLA. Super expensive, but service and atmosphere are definitely top notch. They always treat us right here and we know some of the staff by name (and vice-versa). Plus, Jeremy plays here! Very centrally located right on Canal street at the edge of the FQ.

Sheraton

Solid business style hotel. Also very well located on Canal St. It's slightly older, but delivers the goods and has all the amenities you would expect for business travel.

Hotel Monteleone

Classic NOLA luxury hotel. Beautiful rooms and atmosphere - but also can be very pricey. The famous and fun Carousel Bar is here - which is always a stop for me anytime I'm in NOLA.

Omni

Located right in the heart of the French Quarter. Very nice hotel and if you're lucky, you'll have a balcony right on the quarter. For some reason, I can always find a relatively inexpensive rate here, despite how nice the hotel is, so don't let that scare you.

Four Points

Full disclosure - I've never actually stayed here myself, but have heard good things about it. It's right on Bourbon so you're in the heart of everything, and it's very reasonably priced - if you don't mind the hustle bustle, and noise of the FQ!!

DoubleTree

Another one I have not stayed at personally, but our friend Nancy swears by it. It's where she generally stays when she's in NOLA. Very reasonably priced and in the CBD on the other side of Canal St. Very close to the FQ and just behind Harrah's casino.
